I added this move based on information in a Wired.com article called, The Best Movies in the Public Domain (2006).
Released by the Toei Company in Japan on Feb. 2, 1974, Street Fighter has no copyright record in the US Copyright Catalog for 1974 or any other year (alternate titles included). Furthermore, there is no indication of a copyright notice in the movie.
Even though this movie is widely available for free (as public domain) on reputable websites such as Youtube, Archive.org, and others, and would truly seem to be without copyright protection, it cannot be determined with any certainty that this movie is, in whole or in part, 100% public domain. It may be that because this movie was originally released in Japan by a Japanese entity, that it is public domain for not adhering to that country’s copyright law or when distributed in the US, it was never protected under US copyright law – who knows.
This movie is also listed as public domain on Wired.com and Wikipedia.org.
